I especially enjoyed creating content for Kinco’s cult following within the snow sports community and celebrating independent artists who transform their gloves into one-of-a-kind works of art.

As a contract artist for Red Bull, I created custom artwork for restaurants, bars, and events throughout Portland, Oregon, bringing bold visuals and hands-on artistic expression to local spaces and experiences. One of my favorite pieces is the live acrylic painting as a Red Bull x SEE SEE Motor Coffee collab at the One Moto Show, inspired by motorcycle culture, old-school tattoo flash, and PDX’s devoted coffee community.

Commissioned by Brewery Branding Co. in the summer of 2021, these are some highlights from a merch collection created for Boneyard Beer in Bend, Oregon. I cut my teeth creating designs for punk and heavy bands when I was younger so merch designs like this hold a special place in my heart. My hope was to bring Boneyard's loud, brash and fun style to laid-back beach days and backyard BBQs.

A selection of work created for Portland’s own Verde Cocina, celebrating their fresh take on authentic Mexican cuisine. I collaborated with the Verde across multiple projects, including hand-drawn chalk illustrations, menu design, signage, and digital and print assets, helping bring a cohesive visual identity to their spaces and marketing.

Versus was an early-stage social media app conceived as a competitor to Musical.ly, now known as TikTok. The platform was designed to let users share videos and compete against one another, or “verse” each other. I was contracted on the project during its initial development and contributed to foundational brand identity, including logo design, color palette, basic wireframes, and brainstorming around app functionality. This project was an exciting opportunity to tackle branding and initial-stage product design early in my career. Despite positive reception during initial testing, Versus ultimately remained in developer limbo and never launched publicly.

While working as a designer at Checkmate Creations (later shortened to Checkmate), I was tasked with developing the branding and initial web design for Outsource.IO, a platform designed to connect businesses with the specialists they needed, from artists and developers to copywriters and other creative professionals. The client had just one request for the branding: green. At a time when major social platforms were becoming instantly recognizable by their signature colors, the challenge was to create an identity that felt distinctive in an increasingly crowded app market. The concept of finding the right person to seamlessly blend into a company's team led me to the chameleon logo, which was enthusiastically received by the client. A fun project that tackled brand strategy, visual identity, and early-stage web design.

An illustration created for Big Cheese Tees, a Disney-inspired apparel and merchandise brand catering to the dedicated fanbase now affectionately known as “Disney Adults.” Inspired by the iconic Haunted Mansion attraction, I wanted to celebrate Disney’s spookier side and the enduring appeal of its beloved, haunt-worthy aesthetic.

As a young artist, creating logos, merchandise, and album artwork for local bands was one of my biggest passions and an introduction to the world of graphic design. My work for the hardcore band Fortune Favors the Bold was no exception. This experience helped shape my early design practice, introducing me to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator while teaching me the fundamentals of prepress production and asset management, particularly for apparel. This collection features logo development, T-shirt graphics, and hoodie designs created for the band.

Freelance work through my studio, GasmaskDesign, has spanned a wide range of industries, mediums, and project scales. This project began as a commission for a charcoal portrait of Kurt Cobain, based on a specific reference photograph. To my surprise, I learned the client intended to incorporate the portrait into a musician-inspired clothing line. I have a strong feeling he was unsuccesful in that endeavor due to the comical amount of presumed copyright infringments

A custom motorcycle helmet commissioned by a client specifically drawn to my tattoo-inspired flash style work. Hand-painted in acrylic, this was a fun project to bring bold traditional tattoo imagery onto a unique three-dimensional canvas. Collapse project

These examples showcase my experience across both traditional and modern printmaking environments. While working in the University of Connecticut’s School of Fine Arts, I developed hands-on experience with a wide range of processes, including intaglio, relief printing, woodblock printing, letterpress, typesetting, and bookbinding. Beyond my own practice, I also had the opportunity to assist students in learning techniques, processes, and artistic approaches to the medium.

I’m a Portland, Oregon-based designer and illustrator with professional experience in creative fields dating back to 2016. My work spans graphic design, illustration, print production, packaging, digital media, and brand development, with a particular passion for print collateral and visual storytelling. I’ve collaborated with creative teams, led design projects, and worked across a range of industries, translating conceptual ideas into cohesive visual identities and engaging design assets.
As a hands-on, collaborative designer, I bring a balance of creative exploration and practical production knowledge to every project. From illustration and image editing to prepress and packaging, I enjoy finding thoughtful, effective ways to bring ideas to life across both print and digital platforms.
Outside of design, my work and creative perspective are heavily influenced by the creative culture around me, punk and hardcore music, horror films, tattoo culture, as well as a broader interest in activism, social and political injustice, and environmental consciousness. These influences continually shape how I approach visual storytelling, encouraging me to create work that feels expressive, intentional, and connected to the world around me.
